On April 28, schoolgirls can get a taste of STEM professions at the HSZG on Girls' Day.
At the nationwide Girls' Day on April 28, 2022, schoolgirls can get a taste of STEM professions that are atypical for girls. The aim is to put an end to gender stereotypes for "non-gender-specific" professions.
In the materials technology laboratory, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering provides insights into the wide range of opportunities in the field of energy and environmental technology and mechanical engineering for all schoolgirls who want to help shape their future sustainably and are interested in researching alternative raw materials and processes.
When: 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

At the Natural Fiber Center of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, interested schoolgirls will be shown how we can live and produce in the future with what nature provides and how we can protect our environment in the process.

At the Institute of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Metrology (IPM ), prospective students get to know Anastasia and find out first-hand what brought the electrical engineering and computer science student from Greece to Zittau. Using our cobots, the institute will demonstrate how to get a robot to work together with a human.
