Handing over the baton

The Institute Council of the IPM unanimously elects Prof. Tobias Zschunke as the new Director.

With Prof. Dr. Alexander Kratzsch's move to the office of Rector of the HSZG, he is passing on the post of Director of the Institute of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Metrology. On Tuesday, February 4, the course was set for the future management of the institute.

Just in time for the start of spring on March 1, Prof. Dr. Tobias Zschunke will take over the baton. He was proposed in advance by the project managers and stood as a candidate for election. The full Institute Council elected him with 9/9 votes. Prof. Zschunke is a long-standing member of the IPM and has now been given the vote of confidence for a term of office of 3 years.
