Analysis of thermal-hydraulic two-phase flow phenomena (blow down, evaporation, condensation).

Aims:

 

  • Generation of validation data bases for simulation software (ATHLET, RELAP, CFD-codes)

  • Development and testing of innovative two-phase flow and level measuring systems

  • Application of intelligent signal processing methods (model based, Soft Computing models and diagnosis algorithms)

  • Analysis of control systems and schemes

  • Application as steam generator for external test facilities (HORUS, Fragmentation)
